The test we design against

One test decides every design question here: can somebody who was not there reproduce the result, years later, from what we kept?

Four promises

Each one is enforced by the system, not by a policy asking people to behave.

  1. Nobody else can see your data

Separation is enforced by the database itself, not only by the software. A mistake in code cannot show one client another client’s records.

  2. Signed-off work cannot be quietly changed

Approved records cannot be edited or deleted. A correction creates a new version and the original stays intact.

  3. One person cannot do every step

Whoever did the work cannot approve it, and whoever owns an action cannot be the one who confirms it closed. The system refuses, rather than reminding.

  4. Everything leaves a trace

Who did what, when, and on what evidence — written as it happens, to a log that administrators cannot alter.

An action in OneView waiting for independent closure validation, with its original due date shown beside its current one.
Closure proposed by the owner, confirmed by somebody else. The system refuses the shortcut rather than reminding anyone not to take it.

Evidence and records

The parts that decide whether a conclusion still stands up in three years.

Files keep their fingerprint

Every attachment is stored with a checksum, who uploaded it and when. Replacing one never destroys the old one.

Numbers reconcile

Anything on a dashboard can be traced back to the records behind it. No figure appears that cannot be explained.

Records are kept, then let go properly

Retention is set by your policy rather than ours, with a legal hold that always wins over a deletion.

Send us your questionnaire.

We would rather answer it now than at procurement. If something does not meet your standard, tell us which part.
